A REVIEW ON VARIOUS FORMULATION OF NANOEMULSIONS IN COSMETICS WITH PLANT EXTRACTS AS THE ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

نویسندگان

چکیده

This review conducted to compare the difference of formulation nanoemulsion cosmetics by plant extracts between Centella asiatica, seed oil from Rubus idaeus, Phyllanthus urinaria, Garcinia mangostana L., Vellozia sauamata, and Cordyceps militaris extract. Materials methods was taken several literature in valid databases that focuses on current status its characteristics, cosmetics, are made extract as active ingredient. Comparison formulas above can be seen various aspects. Referring each article, 4 out 6 use high energy techniques rest low techniques. Formula 1, 3, technique with pressure homogenization, formula uses ultrasonication, which is still a technique. Formulas 2 5 techniques, namely using Phase Inversion Composition (PIC) Temperature (PIT). High-Pressure Homogenizer (HPH) most widely used for manufacture nanoemulsions. In terms formula, components such surfactant, cosurfactant, phase, water phase also different presented. Even though all six different, ingredients form nanoemulsions need tested until finally goal cosmetic product achieved.

Influence of Formulation Parameters on the Release of Diclofenace Sodium from Matrices with Manufacturing Formulation Ingredients

Effects of formulation parameters on the fractional release profile of diclofenac sodium from matrices having the manufacturing formulation ingredients are studied. As a content of cetyl alcohol (rate controlling agent) in the matrix increases, the fractional release decreases. The fractional release increases either by increasing sucrose content outside the granule or by decreasing sucrose...
